Ashley + Ian at Mount Ida Farm

October is a magical time in Virginia. With crisp air, golden sunlight, and fiery autumn foliage, it’s the perfect season for a wedding.
Mount Ida Farm
, nestled in the rolling countryside just outside Charlottesville, provides an idyllic backdrop for couples seeking a blend of rustic charm and refined elegance.I clicked with Ashley & Ian off the bat. We met for
their engagement session
at
Airlie
on a fairly miserable day, but still decided to make the best of it. The wedding day was nothing short of perfect - perfect weather, scenery, and guests. Ashley & Ian chose to exchange their vows under the pergola by the lake, framed by a florals of white and blush tones. Guests enjoyed a cocktail hour and dinner at the Event Barn with a biscuit bar and their signature drinks. We had the BEST BBQ in such a cool set up. After dinner, we took some fun direct flash photos outside with champagne and danced the night away.
